Neue Features auf Teams-Roadmap angekündigt (18/2022)

Neues (und auch Wiederauferstandenes) auf der Microsoft Teams-Roadmap in der vergangenen Woche: Teams Connect Shared Channels, Meeting Chat Bubbles, E-sign Approvals, erweiterte Umfragen in Besprechungen und bevorzugter Download-Ordner für Dateien.

So richtig verstehe ich die Logik der Microsoft 365-Roadmap nicht. Einige der in der vergangenen Woche angeblich neu angekündigten Funktionen waren längst bekannt und/oder im Preview – dennoch erscheinen sie erneut als neu angekündigt.

  • Teams Connect shared Channels war schon angekündigt als Microsoft Teams Connect (ID 70766)
  • Der bevorzugte Download-Ordner war meiner Überzeugung nach auch schon mal angekündigt (finde aber gerade die alte ID nicht)

Multiple organizations can work together in a shared space – have conversations, schedule a meeting, share, and co-author files, and collaborate on apps, without ever switching tenants in a secure, governable and compliant environment.

Microsoft Teams: Meeting Chat Bubbles on Android / iOS

GA: June 2022

Currently, if you change your lobby policy in a Teams Meeting to „Invited Users Only“ and invite a Distribution List (DL), only the first 1,000 users of that DL will be recognized and let through the lobby. All other users a part of the DL will not be recognized and will be placed in the lobby. With this update, up to 10,000 users of that given DL will be recognized and let through the lobby if the lobby policy is set to „Invited Users Only.“

Microsoft Teams: E-signature approvals on mobile: view and take action

Users can now see their e-signature approvals on mobile devices and take action on them. As a recipient they can view or review them, as a creator they can edit or cancel them.

Microsoft Teams: Choose preferred download location for files

GA: May 2022

Teams will now enable users to select the default download location where they would like to have their files downloaded. This is applicable only on the desktop client. Teams on the web will continue to honor the setting in the browser.
